5Classic and Great ProductDec 27, 2006
By JH
This is a great product from a great company. What can you say about the Swiss Army Knife that hasn't been said? The translucent color of this particular knife is quite nice, though you see the inevitable scratches to the handles easier. Its not a 'collectors knife' though- this is a precision tool, meant to be used daily, not preserved in the box. The price made it tempting to pick up a few as gifts.

5Swiss Army Tinker Translucent Pocket Knife (Sapphire)Oct 29, 2006
By Steve Davis
One of the best knives made. The only reason I replaced the last (red) one
I had was because I lost it after 20 years. The only problem with it was the
handles kept coming off and I had to glue them back on numerous times. But
after 20 years who can complain.

5Wonderful little Gem !Sep 27, 2011
By Hugh Manatee
This Victorinox Tinker (91mm) is a wonderful little gem !

Perfect size for convenient pocket carry.
Don't even know i'm carrying it -- until i need it.

Great selection of useful tools, in a nice and compact package.
Gotta' love the Victorinox can opener ! :-)

The pretty plastic scales will get scratched and scuffed in a hurry,
but this did not bother me in the slightest. It's a Tool, to be USED !

Tip: get yourself a Stick-Pin, and store it easily and effortlessly
inside the tiny hole next to the fold-out Phillips screwdriver on the bottom.
(in the plastic handle)
That's what that hole was meant for. Wish they would've included the Pin !
Gee -- how much extra would it have added to the price ?

Great product. Low price. Fast service. Get one !

5Been using Tinker's for 20 years +Apr 10, 2011
By Michael P. Connell
I've been a fan of the Tinker since I first got one in the mid-80s. Have had several since (I lose them) and just ordered two new ones last night (the saphire and the black). Oddly, the part I use the least is the longer blade. Everything else I use a lot, even for things they were not intended as. The small-screwdriver part of the can=opener i use to remove staples from corkboards I update frequently. The reamer I use to clean crud out of tight areas of items that collect such. I use the large screw-driver and the Phillips often. Some do not like the Phllips because of its location (on the side rather than an end like the flat screw drivers), but I like the location as I use it a lot on quarter-turn fasteners with a Phillips slot.

Overall a great little knife that I get my money's worth out of and then some.

really liked this knife it had a good feeling to it, the toothpick and tweezers are located next to the keychain and it has a small blade and a tiny one, it also has a can opener, bottle opener, wire stripper, a flat screw and a cross screwdriver.
