huntsman knifeJul 23, 2010
By Fish I purchased this item, and am Very happy with it. I would like to address the concerns some reviewers had about the case that comes with the knife. If you place the knife with the Swiss Army logo to the front or back, and the ring on top, it will fit very nicely in the case. You don't want a lot of movement...not only will that scratch the finish, but it may inadvertently cause the flap to open, disgorging the knife. At the time that I purchased the knife I ordered a "specialty" case, also thru Amazon, based on the reviews here. I believe I will return it, as the case that comes with it is more than adequate. And,I hope this helps someone...if you look at the chart provided on the back of the package, you will see a diagram of where each part of the knife is located.See the gray "tab" by #10/key ring? If you pull that up, you will find the tweezers. The white tab? That would be the toothpick :o)

Good knife but lousy pouchNov 22, 2007

The free pouch is too lousy.Doesn't fit perfectly to the knife and not so durable. The sides of the pouch are just made of elastic
(Plus 7 Usd more you have to pay for this pouch is definitely not worth it,it is not really as FREE as said.)
I strongly recommend you to get only the knife and find other proper pouch.
Hope this help.
The track-package funtion didn't work well,so it was hard to track my order.

My son loves it!Mar 23, 2007
By stormycj I bought this knife for my son who is in boyscouts. He loves the knife. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that it's a little hard to pull some of the tools out. But over all this knife is great. I'm so glad I bought it.

A long-time companionNov 15, 2011
By Badseed1980 When I was eleven years old, I saved up babysitting and allowance money to buy a Swiss Army knife. This is the model I bought. Twenty years later, it is still one of my favorite and most useful tools, and one of my most-loved possessions. It's taken everything a pre-teen, teenager, and grownup could throw at it. It might be a bit dinged up by now, but it's still in perfect working order. It's sharpened sticks for s'mores, sawed kindling for fires, sliced apples for a snack, opened bottles of wine and beer while camping, pierced new holes in the straps of too-loose belts and sandals, snipped the ends of knitting yarn, and done so many things that it would be impossible to list them all. Durable, versatile, dependable, and just the right size: it's everything I could ask for in a knife.
