Another great Swiss Army knifeMar 18, 2006
By Brian Reaves While I love this knife, I have got one gripe about it. The light is cool, and it's relatively easy to replace the battery, but if you keep this in your pocket you're probably going to be turning it on accidentally and running that battery down. Wish they'd made some way to lock the light off while you're not using it. Still, the translucent look is a nice touch, and there are a lot of useful tools on here. Another nice feature is the fact that it's not too big to fit in your pocket (though it's pushing it just a little). A good choice for the most part.

Great pocket knifeNov 12, 2009
By KW Post This is a great pocket knife -- if you wear jeans or Dockers. It is more than 1" thick, but it not too heavy.
I own a number of multi-tools and Swiss Army knives and this is my favorite for every day use. The pen, standard Phillips, flat heads, flash light, scissors, and wood saw are all useful to me on a daily basis. These are the features I need without the tools that increase the size and weight of some of the other pocket knives. IMHO if you want a wrench with your SAK, buy the Spirit (which I also own.)
Here is my break down on how to select a tool.
Spirit or Wave: either will work for you if you need a tool for moderate loads with locking tools. I prefer the Spirit as a stand-alone tool; and the Wave for the extensions. A pouch is preferred.
CyberTool 29: for small electronics work. This is the right size for pocket carry. It is only missing the scissors for completeness. The scissors are available in the CyberTool 34, but I can't justify the size and weight created by the wrench.
Executive or Manager: these are great choices if you wear dress slacks.
Huntsman Lite: covers a lot of territory without being excessive. I wear jeans to work. So, this works for me.
BTW: One reviewer complained about the thinness of the pen and how painful it was to use. Might I suggest the following. Lift up the corkscrew and place the pen in the slot that extends from the corkscrew though the end of the pocket tool. Then close the corkscrew to "lock in" the pen. Now the tool acts as a handle for the pen. I think the slot was designed for the pen. The pen is very secure and works well. I've taken notes for more than an hour without any wrist strain.
Enjoy.

The best just got better!Dec 18, 2005
By indoorsman The Huntsman was always my favorite Victorinox knife. This knife just seemed to strike a near perfect balance of overall size versus a useful assortment of tools. So I was delighted to discover the Huntsman Lite, which added a LED light, ballpoint pen and a straight pin to an already outstanding knife! How could you go wrong?

It's really light and small. The lamp is a great idea. The ruby color is really beautiful.

Great little knife. It has everything one could possibly need, in my opinion, and weighs surprisingly little. Is there really a Swiss Army?
