Wrong knife picturedFeb 24, 2006
By Paul P. Puppo The picture displayed is of the old (discontinued) Yeoman configuration with the combo balde (screwdriver/can opener/bottle opener/wirestripper). The knife that arrived had 2 blades, one can opener/small screwdriver, and one large screwdriver/bottle opener/wire stripper.
It may seem like a small thing but the new configuration has one more back spring and is therefore 1/8" thicker.

Not a YeomanApr 12, 2008

The knife you will receive is the newer BSA Explorer not the Yeoman that is pictured. While the Explorer is a fine knife (I already have a couple) it is not what I wanted. I wanted a 3 layer SAK with magnifying glass and in line Phillips screwdriver. The Explorer is a 4 layer knife, too thick for my every day use. This is a great knife if you want a BSA Explorer but not if you expect a Yeoman.

By James E. Evans Item was delayed in shipment because it was on back order. Once I did receive it, it was as advertised and in beautiful condition. This was a birthday present for my grandson and he is the first boy scout among his troop to own one.
Great all around pocket knifeJul 24, 2011
By wmitch1000 This is the everything pocket knife for everyone. I had one just like this for many years and had it in my backpack while travelling and lost it to the TSA folks at the airport. This knife has all the pocket tools you will need, and it is well constructed. Give this as a gift that will be used regularly and appreciated for years to come.
