These shoes are great. I wear them everyday.
They have a soft flip flop type sole with a harder rubber sole for traction, which is comfortable but slippery sometimes in wet conditions.
The canvas top holds my feet well. It has frayed quite fast though, a little moreso than I would have liked.
I bike to school in them, they look great with khakis or jeans, feel great with bare feet or socks, dry quickly and don't get stinky. I am happy with the purchase.

Shoes are just as advertised, like a sandal but looks like a cool casual shoe. I normally wear size 8 but I went with size 9's as I wanted plenty of room and the way the heel angles in holds your foot in place.

Most Comfortable Shoes I've ever Worn. Better Than Birkenstocks Adidas Nikes etc. Very much like a slipper. Ultra light weight. I've owned three pair and hope to own many more.

As a young working professional I find it difficult to accept the contemporary "youthful" style of most leisure items, particularly shoes. I am not a "skater" or a "boy" for that matter, nor do I want something flashy. Sanuk has hit upon a very nice contemporary design that is not overly plain or poorly constructed while maintaining a youthful functionality and appearance.
The price seems kind of high until you break them in for a week, they really are one of the most convenient and comfortable pairs of shoes I have ever owned. Tangentially they are now my go-to alternative to my old Birkenstocks, which have been retired to the trash. I'm not sure how well the antimicrobial foam treatment will stand up over time, but they lasted really well for one summer and I can't see them breaking down any time soon, unlike the cork bed of Birks which tends to develop an inhospitable funk.
Also as others have said these run a little small, I usually run 11 and had to swap them out for 12. These were sold from "Surf & Dirt" and their customer service is worth mentioning as very high quality.

Ordered my Sanuk Vangabonds two days ago, standard delivery, and recieved them today! Incredibly fast delivery, incredibly comfortable shoe. I bought a knock off brand two years ago and wore them every wear until the soles fell apart. I can tell these are built to last. I am ordering another pair of Sanuk's right after I right this review. Did I mention how awesome they look with jeans? Also, for the longest time I had a dilemma as to what to wear with shorts - flip flops offer limited mobility, shoes don't look right, and sneakers offer little ventilation in the summer heat. Sanuk has solved my problem!
