A special tempering process is used to produce an edge that can be resharpened over and over again, so the knife can keep its original sharpness throughout the entire life of the blade. Victorinox handles are ergonomically designed to minimize wrist tension. They provide a natural fit. A good heft and comfortable, positive grip are indications of a well-made knife. Although cutlery steel is naturally sanitary, materials and construction details of the handle minimize crevices what would offer hospitality to bacteria. This knife also works well as a steak knife, tomato knife and bagel knife. | | | Features: | |

My favorite knifeJul 02, 2010 I use this knife for almost everything. I've tried other brands, but Victorinox is the best
NOT JUST A STEAK KNIFEJan 22, 2010 This 4.5 inch Victorinox knife makes a great size utility knife. In fact, I do not use them as steak knives but as everyday knives for slicing and paring (when I need something a little bigger than a standard paring knife). Exremely sharp, comfortable handle, keeps a good edge. Great knife for the money.
BRILLIANT KNIFEDec 21, 2009 This is the very best little knife that I have ever bought. I use it all the time and it cuts perfectly.

Great knife for everything, a must in any kitchen.Dec 07, 2009 My mom has owned a set of these knives for quite a while so I decided to purchase them for myself when my big fancy set got left back when I moved. They are amazing! I don't even know why they're called a steak knife because they're good for everything. I'm vegan so I never use them for meat, but I use them for everything else from vegetables, to fruit to cake. I like them so much that even when I got the chance to bring back my old set I didn't because I really don't need them anymore. Besides I know they last forever since my mom's still work as good as new. Everyone should have a few of these in their kitchen. The big sets of other famous brands are not at all needed if you have a few of these and the quality is unbeatable.

A Great Knife But...Jul 27, 2009 This is a great knife but you can get a dozen equivelent knives for the same price (in stainless steel). These are essentially kid-friendly steak knives like you see in many restaurants. But they are very useful for dozens of other things. I love them for cutting and buttering bread.
Get this knife and you'll use it forever, or get a dozen for the same price that are made in China. ;-)
