economical but "bare bones"Mar 11, 2010
I bought this jacket for my 7 year old for school. They have outdoor recess during the winter and the coat takes a beating playing on the snow mounds the plows push up. There are no pockets. The hood is paper thin and barely covers. When I wash it, the velcro closure at the chin always catches onto the inner lining of the hood. When I pull it off the lining, the lining tears a little. It is a very cheap coat but it is serving the purpose of keeping the "better" coat she has reserved for church and "going out" in like-new condition. It is not very thick and therefore not that warm. Is fine for temps of at least 30 degrees without wind chill, but not for a sustained period of time. If you need something substantial, invest in a better coat.
