whoa...super fast shipping...Apr 30, 2010
Ordered this on wednesday(4/28)morning and arrived Friday(4/30)morning. Also chose the FREE 5-9 day shipping cause I wasnt in a hurry. The knife looks good and solid. Will be testing out the tool later. Very suprised and happy with shipping and very pleased with the product.

The farmer knife has a pruning saw blade which is most handy to me. The 2 knives arrived before the advertised date, perfect as described, ANOTHER AMAZING AMAZON DEAL.......

I like Swiss Army Knives. I have a small collection of them. This is my first alox knife, and I'm quite happy with it. The main knife blade is thicker and wider than the red handled knives like it, which is nice. This is the same blade that was standard issue for the Swiss Army until the 2008 redesign. The awl is also very sturdy, and features an L-shape for more rigidity during use. The alox scales have held up well to daily carry, and don't scratch nearly as easily as the classic red plastic handles. The only drawback about the handles is that they don't have a toothpick or tweezers in them. Overall, this is a high quality knife that looks and works great!

A good, reliable knife produced by a highly reputable company. An excellent example of high quality at a reasonable price. My garden guy will use it for many years.

I have many SAKS, But the one I always come back to is the Vic Farmer. Tha Alox scales look great after many years of service. The main blade is razor sharp from the factory and easy to maintain. The saw is the cat's meow in my book, The teeth stay sharp and are self cleaning. I have opened hundreds of cans with the opener. It's a cinch with a little practice. If you want a versatile SAK that will virtualy last a life time. The Victorinox Farmer is the one for you.
