 Great knife for horsemenDec 04, 2009
All Victorinox knives are good, and this is no exception. It does have a hoof-pick, but more importantly for horsemen it has ample implements oriented towards beverage service.

 A useful horseman's knife.Sep 29, 2006
I bought this knife for my wife for her riding pack. As is typical of Victorinox, it is a decent, hard stainless blade folder. Unfortunately, the extras were not particularly well thought out, from a horseman's perspective. The big knife blade is great, as is the saw blade. In lieu of the utterly useless corkscrew, however, a Phillips head screwdriver would be far more valuable. I called the local Victorinox authorized repairman to see if he would make this substitution, but he is not authorized to do so.
