Close to perfectAug 18, 2009 Greatest functionality in a decent pocket knife (vice pen knife) size. Can/bottle opener tool performs both functions well. Scissors are a must. I have actually used the cork screw a number of times. Pen's a little too dinky for me to write with legibly. Pin? Yeah, ok, I think I've used that too. But THE HOOK???? I agree with the other reviewer, replace it with an awl. Otherwise, a superbly designed knife that is with me everywhere except aircraft - THANKS AL QAEDA!
Excellent utility knifeJun 18, 2009 I love this compact pocket knife. I had an identical model for about 10 years before I had to part ways with it at a security check point. This model has an excellent knife blade and the corkscrew is incredibly strong (never had a wine bottle I couldn't open with it). Additionally, I've used the pen countless times. Would highly recommend.
Swiss Army KnifeDec 28, 2008 Very compact for so many uses. I've purchased several over the last 30 years. (Thanks baggage handlers, TSA, and deep chairs.) This model is never available in stores and this seller has the best price.

The most useful tools in a compact packageJul 23, 2008 Has all the tools I actually use. Rides easily in a pocket. Typical high-quality Swiss workmanship. Classic, people-friendly design. Makes a great gift for anyone, but be sure to get one for yourself, too.
The only downside is the "multi-purpose" hook, for which I can't imagine even one practical use for. The literature shows carrying some kind of parcel wrapped in string. I haven't carried a parcel wrapped in string in, I don't know, 100+ years. If they replaced the hook with a phillips screwdriver or an awl this would be the perfect carry knife.
