Very Good Binoculars for Reasonable PriceAug 26, 2007

"Exposed"
These Make in China 10x50 Porro Prism binoculars are a very good value. The only negatives would be the cheap strap, case and lens covers but that's to be expected at this price point.
The binoculars themselves offer strong contrast and natural color up close and far away. The rose colored multi-coated optics gives a bright clear view of whatever I'm looking at.
The Porro prism system seems to offer excellent depth perception - better than my other roof prism design ... making birds and wildlife seem to "pop out."
As with most 10x50's these are a bit large but for all around viewing are hard to beat. Includes deep rubber eyecups for comfort and both center and individual focusing mechanisms so I can get pickey on my focusing.
All in all a good deal that I'm happy with.
