Very nice, at any price !!Dec 11, 2009
By Kelly T. Crisell These boots are very warm and comfortable, and seem to be very well made with real leather and sheepskin uppers. They are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time; actually they're like giant snow slippers. The soles have a mildly aggressive tread pattern, made with quality materials. The sizing is the same as normal street shoes, if you plan on wearing thick socks order one size over. This is my second pair of Bearpaws, I'm sure it will not be my last.

Nice boots!Dec 02, 2010
By Irene Not bad at all. Bought these boots for my husband, here is what he thinks:
Good: These boots are fully lined with sheepskin. They seem to be warm and waterproof. Toe area is reinforced from outside, and it is very stiff, so you can kick some stones painlessly :)Same with the hill. Nice traction pattern on the soles. Insoles are removable. Overall, good quality boot, all suede/leather and sheepskin - can't beat the price for this kind of materials.
Bad: boot is stiff. I don't know if it will ever break in. Soles are thick and stiff and almost don't bend. Trim on the top is thick, might be too thick to wear with narrow jeans. I tried boots on with bootcut jeans, and they were fine, not too tight, but a bit visible. Also, these boots are very wide in the ankle area. My legs are not crazy thin, just normal, and I bought size 12M, and boots were still too wide even tightened up to the maximum. The sheepskin fur inside is not as thick and plush as it sometimes is, so there isn't a lot of cushion. I'm used to wear warm hiking boots in winter, and compared to those Bearpaw boots offer little support.
Sizing - I usually wear 11.5 but I bought 12, so they were too big and too wide. Less in length, more in width. Extra insole helped, but still I wish they were tighter everywhere.

Great Snow BootFeb 06, 2011
By Paula Y Crews Not just for Men. I found these boots to be very flattering and comfortable to wear. It's a great waterproof boot that's extremely good in the snow with good traction. My favorite color is the burgundy/champagne color. It's more of a feminine color, IMO. Ladies don't be shy about ordering this boot. I wear women's size 10 normally, but I ordered a size 8 mens and there's enough room in the toe for comfort. I extremely like how warm and comfortable these boots are on my feet. The trick is knowing what size you wear in men's in order to get the right fit.
adequate bootJan 04, 2012
By J. Blye Good boot, wears well, however if you have a wide foot these may not work, therefore the rating was only four stars
