It’s just one little bet. Winner takes…all.

Pleasure Inn, Book 2

Tired of aspiring actors using her to get close to her movie-producer father, Candace Steele has sworn off relationships. At least until she’s achieved her dream of restoring an old inn on the outskirts of Mason Creek. The new carpenter who’s been hired to help her create bedroom furniture designed for…endurance…is throwing a kink into her plans. Watching his athletic body pound wood is doing things to her hormones that have her rethinking her vow.

When he agreed to take the job, Marc Collins intended to keep the sexy spitfire at arm’s length. But Candace is giving him a run for his money in more ways than one. It’s tough to keep just his eyes on—and hands off—his boss’s daughter when she’s hell-bent on seducing him. And when she pulls a fast one and wins an impromptu bet, what’s a red-blooded guy to do except let her collect her winnings…all of them.

The heat they generate melts the fresh paint off the walls. But when seeds of doubt make Candace put on her running shoes to flee, Marc will have to talk fast—and run faster—to capture her heart.

Warning: This red-hot story contains graphic sex, frank language, wet play, use of orgasm-enhancing props, and to top it all off, it’s all caught on film—just in case you missed anything the first time.

5All Worked UpFeb 03, 2010

Candace Steele, daughter of famed movie director Jason Kane, is used to men who only want to get close to her to be introduced to her father and his connections. Fed up, Candace joins her two best friends, Lindsay and Anna, in swearing off men. But when the trio's new client requests that, in addition to restoring an old Victorian home and turning it into an inn, each woman design a bedroom based on their personal fantasy, Candace finds herself, well, a bit worked up. Especially with paint stripper Marc Collins on the job...

Marc is well aware of the flirtatious glances Candace is throwing his way. Though he'd like nothing more than to give into the desire growing between them, Marc has a secret that prevents him from getting involved with Candace. Namely, he works for her father and he's been assigned to guard Candace until the person sending Jason threatening letters is caught. He shouldn't get involved with Candace, but some temptations are just too hard to resist.

As befitting a story with two extremely athletic protagonists, All Worked Up hotfoots it to happily ever after with stops for sin and seduction along the way. Cathryn Fox has delivered a fast and fun tale that sparks with the energy of its delightful characters. It's easy to become invested in Candace and Marc's romance, as both are incredibly likeable people. The obstacles on the lovers' road to happiness aren't big, making All Worked Up simply a lovely tale of two people who were meant to be.

All Worked Up is the second story in Ms. Fox's highly entertaining Pleasure Inn series and it's even better than the first. For the most part, All Worked Up can stand on its own. However, those who have not read All Tied Up will miss out on the mystical setup concerning Candace, Anna, Lindsay's unusual client. This doesn't impact the romance, but some things in the book might seem a bit odd if you have not read All Tied Up.

All in all, I'd say that Ms. Fox has a winner on her hands with All Worked Up. I greatly enjoyed reading it and cannot wait to read Anna's story.

44 Hearts from TRS!Sep 21, 2010
By Tina Pavlik "Tina"
From the very beginning, the intense attraction between Marc and Candace is evident, as is the fact that they are both fighting against it for different reasons. Candace has reason to be wary of unknown men, but there is just something about Marc that draws her to him. Marc struggles with his desire for Candace knowing that he shouldn't be getting involved with her when he can't really tell her the truth about who he is. Their internal battles make it that much sweeter when they finally succumb to their mutual attraction.

The scenes between them are both hot and sweet. Their sexual chemistry burns up the pages. But it is really the tenderness between them that makes everything feel right and not forced when it comes to their relationship. It is obvious that there is more than just sex between them, which is necessary for them to overcome Marc?s deception, and that is what makes this such a pleasurable, though short, read. - Karin

This one was really good. I read book one first and it started out as a magic wizzard type woman talking to her cat and I at first didn't want to read it. but then I did and it moved to current day and I was hooked. this one shows that even when someone keeps the truth from you doesn't mean they are out to harm you. had some very hot scenes by the lake. I also liked that these men are not dripping in money. They are just average working men...that happen to be hot!Now I am waiting for book three....patiently!

Candace is looking for someone to love her for her not for who her parents are. Marc is looking to protect her at her fathers request. This is a great book about twist and turns as Marc tries to protect Candace he is falling farther and farther under her spell. Candace thinks this is a guy who could really love her for her. Good thing they have a fantasy room to construct. Candace may seem like just a work out girl but she has a soft heart that loves to get a little wild this is a great book in the series about opening your heart when your not sure if it will be trampled all over when it is all said and done.
